Review
The Sims Pet Stories is the second game released in The Sims Stories series, following The Sims Life Stories.
This version gives the Sims the opportunity to care for and train pets, in a way much similar to The Sims 2: Pets. This game is optimized for laptops and presents both story and free play modes. Players can also raise and train pets in the game like in The Sims 2.
This game introduces two new stories - Best in Show and Midnight Masquerade. The first story presents Alice, a woman who has been having financial problems and is about to lose her home. So she makes her pet Dalmatian participate into a local dog show to try to earn enough money to save her house. Best in Show is set in the neighborhood of Garden Heights. The whole town are avid fans of dogs and almost every inhabitant has one.
The second story is about a successful executive chef called Stephen, whose world is turned upside down when an annoying cat comes to live with him. Midnight Masquerade takes place in the neighborhood of Mesa Flats. The town annually holds the Mesa Flats Midnight Masquerade, for which Stephen has to prepare for during the story while looking after his cousin's pet cat. |
